Glass House Narration
At first sight, the glass house appeared beautiful, but it did not intrigue me due to its plainness and simplicity. Only after researching, did i find out how amazing and fascinating this house really is.
Although the Glass House by Philip Johnson appears simplistic, it is a masterpiece of glass and minimal geometry and proportions. Not only had the architect put a great amount of thought to the structure, but also to the landscape. The landscape was purposely designed to be a reflection of the landscape in the painting “Burial of Phocion”.
